Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all courses, masterclasses, quotations, agreements and services of Biomimicry Centre (part of Firm of the Future). By registering or using our services you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

"We"/"us" refers to Biomimicry Centre. "Participant"/"you" refers to the natural or legal person who registers for a course or masterclass or purchases another service. "Agreement" is the arrangement between us and the participant.

2. Applicability

These terms apply to all offers and agreements, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Deviations are only valid if expressly confirmed in writing.

3. Registration and formation

Registration takes place via the registration or contact form or by email. An agreement is formed once we have confirmed your registration in writing (by email). Placement is on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Prices and payment

The stated prices are in euros. For courses, prices are excluding VAT, and for masterclasses as indicated. Invoices must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date and before the course starts, unless otherwise agreed.

5. Cancellation and rescheduling

Cancellation by the participant must be made in writing. For cancellations up to 4 weeks before the start we charge no fee; between 4 and 2 weeks before the start 50% of the fee; within 2 weeks before the start the full amount. You may always have a colleague take your place free of charge.

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a course in the event of insufficient participants or force majeure. In that case, amounts already paid will be refunded, or you may join a subsequent edition free of charge.

6. Intellectual property

All course materials, models, methods and content remain the property of Biomimicry Centre. They may not be reproduced, shared or used commercially without our written permission.

7. Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant course or service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damage. This limitation does not apply in the event of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part.

8. Force majeure

In the event of force majeure, we are entitled to suspend or amend the performance of the agreement without being liable for damages.

9. Complaints

You can submit complaints about our services in writing within 14 days via info@biomimicry-centre.com. We will confirm receipt and aim to respond substantively within 4 weeks.

10. Governing law

All agreements are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where Biomimicry Centre is established.
